Chateau Bonalgue 2018
On the nose, the 2018 Château Bonalgue is marked by freshness, floral notes and pleasant hints of blueberries. In the mouth, the wine is crisp, creamy and has a refreshing structure in a hot vintage. It has perfectly integrated tannins and is very inviting. A pleasant wine that can be enjoyed in its youth, but which has enough time to spend in the cellar.
Distinctions
"Notes of black fruits, lightly smoked, bay leaf and vanilla. A full-bodied red with a velvety texture and fine tannins that blended perfectly into the wine. A long, creamy finish with lovely fruit. Best enjoyed after 2024." - James Suckling
"It has an aromatic profile of black fruits, sweet and rather direct, on the nose you can feel the Merlot character first, marked by black cherry, kirsch and plum. A rather rich style full of character. This is a very good vintage for Bonalgue." - Wine Doctor
