Chateau Bonalgue 2020
With inviting hints of licorice wood, black currants and cherries, Pomerol's charm begins on the nose. This wine is full-bodied and has buoyant tannins without compromising its elegance. A wine that is sapid and harmonious, expressing the solar profile of the vintage, while retaining a lot of vivacity.
Distinctions
"Signature Pomerol, with plump black cherries, cocoa beans, salted caramel, a clear picture of Pomerol glamour, but approachable, no need to wait too long." - Jane Anson
"A deep, dark character offers spicy plum and blackberry notes, along with cloves, vanilla and walnuts. Some cedar as well. Full and dense, with ripe, creamy tannins and a velvety texture. A body full of rich black fruits and a lingering finish. Drink it after 2025." - James Suckling
