A century of family history at the heart of the Pomerol plateau
 
“It’s been one hundred years since my family began tending the vines of Clos du Clocher — six organically certified hectares rooted in the very heart of the Pomerol plateau. To mark this anniversary vintage, I wanted to tell our story through a graphic novel that pays tribute both to the landscapes of our terroir and to the people who have shaped it over time.
The Bordeaux-based artist and colorist Bast joined me to bring it to life with beautiful illustrations, colored using the blue clay that comes from our own soils.
 
The result is a blend of family memories and technical insight: my great-grandfather proudly showing the vines to my father as a child, the rhythm of the vineyard through the seasons, the worry brought by unpredictable weather, the life and balance of our soils… These stories are woven together with timeworn archive photos, old maps tracing the memory of our parcels, gestures passed down through generations, and enduring commitments — the very foundations of both a wine and a family home.
 
Through these pages, I hope you’ll feel a bit of the emotion, quiet pride, and deep attachment we have for Clos du Clocher. Because behind every bottle, there’s a story. This is ours.”
