Chateau Montregard La Croix 2018
The nose is immediately floral, the mouth is rich and juicy with a velvety, sensual texture. On the palate the wine is balanced, with ample tannins and a magnificent aromatic expression of fleshy red fruit, flowers, licorice, vanilla. The 2018 Château Monregard La Croix can be enjoyed in its youth, but it also has good ageing potential.
Distinctions
"Very refined nose, immediately floral; velvety, sensual texture, offering both length and breadth. Like the Clos du Clocher from the same owner, it made a strong impression on us." - RVF - Pierre Citerne
"Black fruits, blueberries and hints of spice. It's full to medium-bodied, with a savory feel. The tannins are tight and structured with length. Tasty finish. Try it after 2024." - James Suckling
