Chateau du Courlat - Cuvée Jean-Baptiste '2014' HT
The bouquet, light and fresh, reveals notes of red cherries and strawberries. This wine has a powerful and tannic structure. Notes of plum, tobacco and smoke give it more intensity on the finish. A wine whose pleasure evolves over time!
Distinctions
“A very rich and sumptuous Lussac Saint-Émilion, with a multitude of aromas and flavors of ripe black plum and blackberry. The palate presents dense, assertive black fruits with dark, stony tannins. To be enjoyed from 2022.” -James Suckling
“A sort of symbiosis of red and black fruits. (…) It is slightly creamy, fresh, with a nice tension which gives it passion and fine-grained tannins which give it fullness.” -Yves Beck
