Chateau du Courlat '2016' HT
The Château du Courlat 2016 presents a rich, very aromatic bouquet. There is a lot of indulgence there with notes of blueberry and chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied with generous and particularly silky tannins so typical of this very fine vintage. The lively finish calls for tasting it again and again.
Distinctions
“The 2016 Courlat has a rich and slightly jammy bouquet with notes of cranberry and redcurrants. The palate is well balanced with juicy, complex but well controlled tannins with a very balanced and taut finish. It’s a very good Lussac Saint Émilion that is being born.” -Wine Advocate
“A fresh, clean wine with aromas of blueberries, nuts and hints of chocolate. Medium-bodied, with firm, silky tannins and a crisp finish.” – James Suckling
